    Please note: Upon registration you are liable for R100 registration fees per student payable upfront as well as the cost of the contract period agreed to regardless of attendance.
    Organisational Commitment:
    1. To instill in pesilats the Pesilat Pledge (Ikrar Pesilat)
    2. To train pesilats in Silat techniques and exercises for self-defense, health,
    stamina, and to minimise body injury.
    3. To promote pesilats who show loyalty to SSPMSA, and those who excel in
    achievement by creating opportunities for participation in local, national and
    international events where applicable.
    4. Pesilats in good steed (adults) are eligible to vote at AGM's provided the following requirements are met: 
    • All payments are upto date
    • 95% attendance 
    • Parents or pesilats to volunteer at 2 events or 2-3hrs per event 

    Pesilats’ Commitment:
    1. To uphold the Ikrar Pesilat at all times.
    2. To attend classes and follow the teachers’ instruction.
    3. To be punctual and show discipline.
    4. To follow the recommended training program outside class times in order to gain
    maximum benefit e.g. 100 consecutive days of training in between levels.
    5. To use Silat only for good deeds and obey the law, and not to teach or display Silat in
    public without prior consent of SSPMSA.
    6. To attend events organised by SSPMSA and to support fundraising events.
    7. To learn about the Malay & Silat culture (adab & adat perguruan) and to follow the cultural norms where applicable during silat training. This includes the dress code of a Pesilat or Pendekar (warrior), and wearing uniforms at all classes. Girls and women to be dressed in loose fitting clothing or Silat uniform and for muslims a black headcovering.

    Administration:
    1. Monthly fees are payable for each member in advance no later than the 28th of each
    month prior to attendance/ Quarterly fees are due by the end of the first month of each quarter, i.e.28th of January for 1st quarter, 28 April for 2nd quarter, 28 July for 3rd quarter and 28 October for 4th quarter
    2. Fees are non-refundable.
    3. SSPMSA does not accept liability for injury or loss of property. We will always
    promote safe training.
    4. Fees stipulated are membership fees and are not based on attendance.
    5. Upon signing, you are liable for payment of fees as per website,
    email, SMS, telephonic or verbal agreement, or as otherwise advertised. Members who do not settle fees by
    the end of their contract period will not be allowed to return until settlement has
    been made.
    6. Payment reference will be the Silat account number allocated to you.

    Indemnity:
    1. SSPMSA will take all necessary precaution to prevent injury.
    2. Please do accept that we do not accept liability for injury or loss of personal
    belongings.
    3. Fees subject to change from time to time.

    Ikrar Pesilat- The Pesilat Pledge
    1. Pesilat adalah pribadi yang berbudi pekerti luhur.
    A Pesilat must have a noble mind and character.

    2. Pesilat adalah manusia yang menghormati sesamanya serta
    mencintai persahabatan dan perdamaian.

    A Pesilat must honour his fellow man, and loves friendship
    and peace.

    3. Pesilat adalah manusia yang senantiasa berpikir dan
    bertindak positif, kreatif dan dinamis.

    A Pesilat must always think and act positively, creatively and
    dynamically.

    4. Pesilat adalah kesatria yang menegakkan kebenaran, kejujuran
    dan keadilan serta senantiasa tahan-uji dalam menghadapi
    cobaan dan godaan.

    A Pesilat must uphold truth, honesty and justice, and is
    always resilient in facing any ordeal and temptation.

    5. Pesilat adalah kesatria yang senantiasa bertanggungjawab
    atas kata-kata dan perbuatanperbuatannya.

    A Pesilat is always responsible for his words and deeds.

    Fees 2018
    Registration fee

    Once-off payment for first time registrations:       R100 per pesilat

    Warrior Course
    Adults: R275pm
    Kids: R165pm
    Self Defense course R750 (includes registration fee)

    Uniforms 
    Full payment upfront - takes 2-3 weeks for make-up depending on availability of materials. 
    Kids: R400 sizes 1-4 (7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14)
    Adults R500 sizes 5-9 (X Small, S, M, L, XL)
